A craft fair was recently held in the Unitarian Church on Prince’s Street. I have been dying to get into the building and see what it’s like on the inside for ages so we jumped at the chance. We like visiting these fairs too so it was doubly good.
This rather tall and cheerful man was advertising the fair on St. Patrick’s Street!

Just outside Boots he stopped in front of me, what could I do but make this image?
He was waiting for his parents to catch up but I liked the contrast between him and the busy world around him. He rejoined that world moments later.

I received an email yesterday from GE Health. A few months ago they contacted me and asked me to add this skateboarder picture to their new Health website. It was to be displayed in Times Square during the month of April and yesterday’s email confirmed that it had been!
The email included a link to this webcam photo. It could have been taken anywhere but since there definitely was an ad campaign on April 7th, so it’s probably real!

Imagine my surprise when we stumbled upon the above scrawled on the sand at Inchadoney. I had nothing to do with it, honest! 😉
Jacinta and I drove down to Clonakilty yesterday evening where we enjoyed a lovely meal in the Cobra Indian Restaurant. Then it was on to Inchadoney beach to enjoy a walk before the sun set.
I just had to write “WE LOVE WORDPRESS” in the sand after seeing a message about bebo nearby. Thanks Jacinta for the idea!

Cork has it’s own Picadilly, Picadilly Lane leads off North Main Street and is situated next to the butchers I featured previously.
A quick search of Google didn’t find anything about it but hopefully someone will stumble across this post and add whatever knowledge they have about this small lane.
