In Photos is run by me, Donncha Ó Caoimh, a software developer with Automattic Inc. and one of the guys behind weblog site WordPress.com and the multi-user version of WordPress WordPress mu. I live with my family in the scenic town of Blarney, Co. Cork, Ireland.

I post a new photograph every day quite often on this site. They are usually street shots around Cork City, Ireland, but there’s a wealth of photos from around the country and elsewhere too. I have in the past used The GIMP, using GThumb as an image viewer on Linux, but I since tried Aftershot Pro (before Corel abandoned it) and now I use Lightroom extensively.

This blog won the “best photoblog” section of the Irish Blog Awards in 2006.
