Relaxing on Panna

Relaxing on Panna Young and old women relax on St. Patrick Street in the glorious sunshine about a month ago.

Smoke Over Cork City

Smoke Over Cork City Smoke Over Cork City A long trail of smoke was visible over Cork City and surrounding countryside this evening as a fire raged in the scrap metal yard in Dublin Hill. Jacinta and I had been down in Monkstown at her sister's house where we enjoyed a great bbq cooked by...

Press the button

Press the button A doorbell on a building on the seafront in Cobh. I can't remember which building exactly but it was down in the direction of the train station. It's scorchio in Ireland now and it's great! We adopted Oscar yesterday and the poor dog was upset last night until we brought him for...

An Modh Scoil

An Modh Scoil This is the Small Claims Court in Cork. If you have a grievance about a product or service you can bring a case against the provider here for around 15 Euro. In a past life it was also a primary school. I went to school here in the early 80's when it...

Wet Cobbles

Wet Cobbles Wet cobblestones leading into the harbour at Cobh.

The green and blue blur

The green and blue blur The Cobh train as it comes into the station at it's destination. This is the second time I have featured the train.

The Rusty Ring

The Rusty Ring This was taken in Cobh about a month ago while out walking with friends there. Cross processed afterwards of course!

Cobh Boats

Cobh Boats I would hazard a guess that these boats are a semi-permanent feature of the Cobh seafront as they're berthed there each time I have visited! I love the cobbles of the slipway, and the way the water catches theevening light. Looks like I'm not the only photoblogger to visit Lanzarote recently!

Oscar

Oscar In a few days time we're adopting this little ball of fur and we're going to name him Oscar! There's an adorable King Charles Spaniel asleep in the background, but as you can see, both are unconcerned that a crazy cousin with a camera is making this shot!

Blarney Rabbit

Blarney Rabbit Another shot of the lovely little rabbit before I cut the grass. The grass has grown back with a vengance already so it will need cutting again! We're Back! Lanzarote was amazing and I have several hundred photos and a few are probably good enough to post!

Old Bike

Old Bike Bikes are still used as a means of transport, somehow. I think people are probably a little crazy to cycle into town these days because of the huge increase in traffic but some hearty souls will continue to do so! I cross-processed this to add the brown/purle tint.

Victoria Road Gate

Victoria Road Gate A gateway on Victoria Road, Cork. A suspicious young man glanced out at me when he heard the shutter of my camera. I suppose I would be too!
