A Robin in November

A little robin looks off to the left in the grounds of Blarney Castle last November. They’re a friendly bird.

If you want more, take a look at the fabulous robin photos that BathNature is posting and follow them!

I think my Blarney Castle membership expires today. I’m uncertain if I’ll renew it as it’s expensive, and I barely used it at all in the past 12 months.

Chugging away at Christmas Time

At the SHARE crib on St. Patrick’s Street, Cork earlier this month. Street fundraisers for SHARE were everywhere again this month, and even had tap-and-pay machines to pay by credit card or phone.

The Ferris Wheel through the Crystall Ball

As seen in a previous photo of the Ferris Wheel on the Grand Parade in Cork, the crystall ball that Henry brought along was a very useful prop.

Here we are at the top of the car park looking down on the big wheel. It surrounds the crystal ball, but the wheel itself can be seen upside down in the ball.

Now I’m remembering how cold it was that evening and how I wished I’d brought my gloves. Must get fingerless gloves so I can use the camera.

Lights along the Lee

Lights along the River Lee a couple of weeks ago when I joined Henry and Vivien for some photography. Henry got a fabulous shot of the wheel.

I’ll be posting some more shots of this over the next few days.

The Lights of the Samuel Beckett Bridge

The Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin and the lights of the Convention Centre Dublin fight for attention. Red and Green lights reflect off the River Liffey on a warm October evening earlier this year.
