A Ramones fan walks down Patrick’s Street. I love the eyes of the poster looking out ..
An ESB van passes a pole with a Rossport Shell-to-sea campaign flyer on it.
Shell want to bring oil to land at Rossport in Co. Mayo, and the ESB are massive consumers of oil, gas and coal in their electricity generation business.
A cyclist races across across an almost empty junction in San Francisco.
I just love the sign on top of the building. Totally out of place amid the beautiful architecture and detail of it’s resting place.
No parking between signs .. hotel guests with big bags approaching. Handle with care!
Shot outside the hotel the out-of-towners in Automattic stayed in while in San Francisco!
The logo on his shirt, "Bull’s Tavern" caught my eye as we waited on the sidewalk for the lights to change.
This is near Union Square in San Francisco. Check out the Macy’s sign! Shopping heaven for those so addicted.
An expired meter I spotted while we waited for a table to become free in a restaurant in San Francisco a few blocks from Union Square.
Photo has been "cross processed" using the Curves tool. I created an S curve on the red and green channels, and then applied a lomo plugin for good effect!
Drivers can be so confused by road signs. Drive this way, drive that way. Those roundy signs with the big numbers surrounded by a red border must be the worst offenders, I mean, hardly anyone obeys them. What were they thinking when they put them up can anyone tell me?

Oh, this was taken in Wilton, Cork. Anyone from the city will recognise this I’m sure!
This was taken a few days after Adam was born and while an election campaign was in full swing. Outside Cork University Hospital a proud poster announced that Cork University Maternity Hospital opened on March 31st. I can’t remember if it did, or was it a week later, but some smart arse added “Despite the best efforts of the HSE” above the main message. An obvious reference to the bullying tactics employed to get midwifes to work in the new an under-staffed hospital.
A slightly damaged sign that should read, "Yield Right of Way" in Wilton in front of the CUMH.
Looks like someone took a bite out of it. Are there large animals in Wilton?
