Crosshaven Boats

In mid February we went down to Crosshaven and I took Adam and Oscar for a walk down the road past the boat yards. It was way too cold and windy though so I didn’t go too far. On the way back I looked up and this just jumped out at me!

Love how this came out.

Lovely! This is a strong image for me. It’s got a great graphical feel to it but at the same time there is lovely detail in the clouds. Perfectly composed too – it reminds me of the the cranes shot you posted not so long ago.

This is great. The black and white is a great way for it, I bet in colour it doesn’t look that great. With the clouds and the boats it looks like they’re going to let you in something… like they guide you.

Very nice angle Donncha. I love the sun light going from light to dark and the ‘pointers’ the masts make to the sky. Lovely composition.

A very haunting image of a place I love – well done. It’s so nice to see it from the other side of the world (Australia) I used to live in Kinsale.
