Were you spammed by Stewart Photo Supplies too?

They guys and gals at Stewart Photo Supplies really want me and lots of other photography related people to know about their photography trade show in Cork on the 17th from 11am to 7pm. Unfortunately they completely ruined their chances of a favourable mention from because of the following.

CCing the info @ mallowcameraclub.com email address along with dozens of other people and organisations. Hello everybody!

BIG BRIGHT COLOURED TEXT WAS NEVER IN FASHION AND DOES NOT LOOK PROFESSIONAL.

Anyway, there’s a photographic trade show on in Cork on the 17th of September in Moran Silver Springs Hotel. I only mention this because there are some interesting companies exhibiting there including Sony, Epson, Canon and JSP Imaging (who they linked to incorrectly, that’s their old site which a domainer now has control of).

Send a text email the next time and don’t CC everyone, please.

    Michele – no, it’s been years since I’ve used spamcop. Never thought of it.

    Niall – possibly, but it’s in a jpeg so not scrapable by bots.

    Apologies to all for the recent email regarding our show in Cork yesterday.
    Due to human error the names were sent out in an open email rather than the
    usual way we send email’s, in the bcc file which protect’s our customer’s email address.
    This was a one off which will not happen again.

    Michele – none whatsoever, but they emailed the info @ mallowcameraclub.com address which is an obvious contact point for a photography club. Robert has kindly apologised and I’m very happy with that.

    It does look trashy that they put the text like that, it could have been done better. The color red attacts the eye and that is probably why they used it
