As you can imagine, I was quite tired by the time I got to San Francisco!
Picture above was taken just down from my Bird flying by photo. I know there are lots of awkward lines in this shot but the line of the Golden Gate Bridge is just about horizontal.
Automattic had it’s first meeting of the week a few yards from here in the glorious sunshine. Some of us suffered sunburn but it sure beat sitting around some dusty old conference table!

Looks like a perfect weather day in this shot, the bridge looks great! Any plans to return soon?

Shouldn’t this be in some tour guide? 😀
What a superb way to spend the summer. The image really captures the freedom of cycling.
I just ran into your blog, and I want to let you know that I love your photos! I worked in a photo lab for years and you have a very creative eye. Keep on cycling!!
I’ve enjoyed your bicycle photos. This one was pretty cool since you were able to incorporate the bridge in a way that isn’t obvious. I mean I’ve never seen it through that vantage point. When I saw the photo my first instinct was “coll bike pic, hey, that’s the GS bridge.” ha. Guess I’m easily amused.
What a really nice photo… I cycled over the golden gate and really enjoyed it apart from all the tourists everywhere.
the photo looks great, great choise by making it black and white.
Biking will not just take you to places easier, it can also make you fit, it will help your body boost and develop stronger stamina, it’s a simple form of exercise.
