Wow! I thought the 20D would do me for a couple of years, but after seeing this photo of the upcoming Canon 30D I want one! Looks like it’ll do everything but make the coffee for you! (via)
Later… Looks like the real Canon 30D is out. I don’t think I’ll be rushing out to buy it as it appears to be only a minor upgrade. More here!

where can i buy it? i like shooting with adams mode combined with pizza and whine while having a sex 😉 LOL
Very funny. I think I need one.
oh, i want to call spock too.
I thought it was real for about 30 seconds :$ then saw the “beer” button & it clicked.
I think they will need a very good button at the beer and pizza…They will be used a lot.
Fantastic…really got sucked in…

[…] This is a bit of a let down to be honest. The new 30D looks nothing like the leaked photo I found a while back. I was looking forward to seeing the ADAMS MODE button but alas, it’s probably not going to see the light of day for some time yet. The really good news is that it’s the same price as the 20D which should force the price of existing 20D bodies down. Look for discounts at your favourite online retailer. If you see it at a bargain price, buy it! (via and every other photography news site) […]
Why does it have two on/off switches?
Also, why doesn’t it have a scotch button? I have to say I’m a little disappointed with the lack of a scotch button on this model.
[…] After the leaked picture of the Canon 30D I think we were all relieved when the real thing really didn’t have buttons for wine and beer. It didn’t make coffee so I can just imagine inebriated journalists running around a war zone.. “What the Duck” does have a camera that makes coffee but it doesn’t improve compositional skills in any way whatsoever. […] gives me another reason to post this image blogged ages ago as a possible leaked photo of the new Canon 30D. I must admit, it would be nice to have an “Adams mode” on my next […]
