Clouds move at night

August 20th, 2007 by Donncha

fly across the in this nighttime shot of City. A crane is in the middle distance, practically a symbol of the City at this stage.

The building site in the foreground is on the old site of the Guy And Company building. There’s St. Anne’s Church or Shandon Bells in the distance.

Great night time shot of the city. I love the motion blur on the clouds in long exposure shots like this - it gives a very dynamic feel. And look at that crane jib, don’t you just love ultra-wide distortion!
