The Christmas Lights of Malaga
Is it too late to post Christmas photos? The Christmas lights of Malaga are a fabulous sight to see. Spanish people really take celebrating the holidays seriously, with lots of happy faces to be seen everywhere!
The couple in the photo
A couple in a photo, a couple on the street. Malaga.
Sharbat Gula and My Cat
Twenty years ago I took a photo of the family cat, Puss, and The National Geographic book, “The Photographs”. That’s the one featuring the striking portrait of Sharbat Gula on the front cover.
What’s that noise?
A man and his dog. The dog with his foot on his human’s foot for comfort. They both look down the street at something happening off camera.
Red and white light trails
More light trails from passing traffic in Malaga. It was a nice warm night. I was listening to the Shakespeare episode of the Short History Of podcast. Good memories.
Conversation and laughter
A moment of laughter caught on camera in Malaga, Spain a few weeks ago. I wonder what they were talking about?
Light trails under the High Street Bridge
Cars go up and down the South Link Road underneath the High Street Bridge in Cork. The bridge was built in 1984, to replace another bridge that crossed the Bandon railway line that stood there since 1850!
Purple Sky in the Mirror
The side mirror of my car reflects the purple of the sky after the sun has set. Traffic on the South Mall of course continues past.
A city behind bars
Looking out from the North Main Street car park.
Light trails and Christmas lights
There’s a four lane highway through Malaga but in December and January they have great decorations over the street. The perfect time to take some long exposure shots of passing traffic!
Loading the containers
Loading a container ship in Malaga Harbour. The sun has already set but there’s a lovely glow in the sky! Trying something new this time. You’ll probably have the visit the site to get the full effect. I’ll be uploading these images to Instagram shortly. As before, these images were cut up with the convert…
Lighting the way to shop
The lights drag you into the shop. Spend money. Spend money.
