Pretty in Pink
Beautiful, pretty pink flowers in Fitzgerald’s Park, Cork in July 2007. I already posted a photo of these flowers but this one was sitting in my TODO box for so long it had to see the light of day!
The Big Slide
In Fitzgerald’s Park a week ago the Street Performance World Championship 2009 brought the crowds to the park. This multi story slide was one of the main attractions. Huge long queue for it though.

Daly’s Bridge
Daly’s Bridge over the River Lee, or The Shakey Bridge is it’s locally. Shot on the way back to the car after SPWC on Sunday. This is the bridge that David Rowell & Co built!

The Cliffs of Moher, majestic cliffs in County Clare looking out on the Atlantic Ocean. 7UP are part of the campaign to name the cliffs as one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world. You’ve probably seen the crazy adverts! It was a really miserable day when we got there. Shooting was really…
Polish Coal
The coal industry here in Ireland has gone through a huge decline in the last 2 decade. In major urban areas only smokeless coal is allowed and even then many people have gas or oil central heating. The days of frequent smog warnings are a thing of the past thankfully. Here in Blarney some will…
Storm clouds over Spanish Point
A large and ominous storm cloud blew over Spanish Point in County Clare while we visited the beach there. Thankfully it only rained a tiny bit and didn’t spoil our time in the sand and on the rocks!
