Two swans were feeding at the edge of the Lee Fields when I stopped. Both had their necks down in the shallows, working the seeds and crumbs in the same posture a second or two apart.
It was exceptionally bright so I exposed for the highlights and everything else went dark.

@donncha Nice.White birds are always a challenge to shoot in the sunlight. You made the right choice. You could also try a polarizing filter. 🙂
@CStamp Thank you! I agree they're a challenge. Unfortunately, while I had a polarizing filter, the group I was walking with was walking further ahead while I dawdled with the swans. Non photographers, eh? 🙂
