St. Patrick’s Night on the water

Photos
Fireworks display at night over Cobh, a large white and pink burst low over the lit waterfront with a smaller red starburst above it, sparks and smoke rising from a barge at water level, the pink glow reflected in the water, terraced houses and town lights lining the shore.

The fireworks went up from a barge moored out in Cobh harbour, and the launch point sits right there at water level, a small fountain of sparks and smoke below the main burst. Unfortunately the barge drifted with the current, and it ended up quite far down the town, probably away from the main crowds!
