The Tiered Beauty of O’Sullivan’s Cascade

·

One of the highlights of a recent trip to Killarney was discovering O’Sullivan’s Cascade. There’s a 1.7 km walk from your car to the falls, but it’s worth it as the area is lovely.

@HarriettMB if you ever get as far as Killarney you have to visit it. Fabulous. The waterfall isn't even the highlight IMO!

@donncha My walking is very limited – I need a rollator these days; but OH could go and take some brilliant pix.

@HarriettMB ah shoot. That would be a problem. Plenty of accessible areas around the lakes though. Hope you get there some day!

@donncha Co Kerry is very much on our list of must visit places, as is Co Cork, esp FOTA island, and the city. I know we are going to The Burren next July for a week, and we usually squeeze in a couple of other trips through the year. There’s so much of Ireland we have never seen, despite living here for nearly seventy years. Big trip to Wales in 2027, so minimal Ireland that year. I’ll let you know when we are definitely doing Kerry.
