Statues playing music near the Perlan in Reykjavik, Iceland. So cold while I took this photo. The Perlan offers a great view of the city but the cold wind will freeze your hands! More info on Wikitravel.
Edit: check out Krista’s photos of the statues too!

This is the first photo I edited completely in Aftershot Pro! The main advantage of using that over GIMP is that I can edit the RAW file and it operates in 16 bit colour.
I’ve edited photos like this with big bands of blue sky before and they really start to show the bands of colour when I pump the contrast up so I was pleasantly surprised when the picture above turned out well!
On the other hand, I’m used to how GIMP works and I had to learn how things worked again.
Drama and whimsy in the same photo — very nice! The colors are amazing.
Great shot, the sky looks fabalous with the sun glowing.
I’d say you must be taking 100’s if not thousands of photos on your trip.
Thank you both! What the photo does not record is how cold it was when I was taking it!
I should mention this here before I forget to. This is called Dansleikur/Dance!
Thanks to Egill for the heads up on that.
