Musical Statues

Statues playing music near the Perlan in Reykjavik, Iceland. So cold while I took this photo. The Perlan offers a great view of the city but the cold wind will freeze your hands! More info on Wikitravel.

Edit: check out Krista’s photos of the statues too!

  1. This is the first photo I edited completely in Aftershot Pro! The main advantage of using that over GIMP is that I can edit the RAW file and it operates in 16 bit colour.

I’ve edited photos like this with big bands of blue sky before and they really start to show the bands of colour when I pump the contrast up so I was pleasantly surprised when the picture above turned out well!

On the other hand, I’m used to how GIMP works and I had to learn how things worked again.
