Beamish Irish Stout

Beamish Irish Stout

Beamish Irish Stout is still on sale in Cork pubs but soon it’ll be brewed by Heineken so if you want the traditional taste, make sure to sample it before the North Main Street South Main Street brewery closes.

Shot in the Mutton Lane Inn last weekend. Hopefully you’re either out enjoying yourself or shopping. There’s no way shopping on Christmas Eve can be called enjoyable!

I remember when it used to be called Lada-juice because of it’s discount price (circa 1988). It was £1.20 then……………god be with the days and all that.

BTW, I have recently developed a taste for it (credit crunch pint of choice!)

Thanks Brian – must have been all the beer I had last night, totally did my head in, or not. Looking forward to having some sort of beer on St. Stephen’s Day when we’re not driving anywhere..

Matty – see you in a couple of days! Tempted to leave the car at home. Might even try Beamish..

I have tried Guinness, is that the same as stout? Just couldn’t get the taste for it even though I’m a descendant from Irish Great Great Grandparents, I’ll stick to normal old beer

I think its a disgrace beamish and crawfords brewery closed it was the oldest brewery in ireland and relatively independent under scottish and newcastle beamish in my view has a better taste in the widget can than its two main rivals pitty its become part of the monopoly monster heineken has become worldwide

Okay so I am not sure if anyone can help me…But my boyfriend is turning 21 coming up on the 19th of January. And recently he came across Beamish Beer. Which really intrigued him since we both come from Irish ancestry. I thought it might be cool to get him some for his birthday. Anyone have any idea where or how I can buy some and get it over to the states?? 😀
