Kent Train Station in Cork is familiar to many travellers. It was built in the 1800s, and the Wikipedia article on it has some interesting background information.

  1. Donncha, It’s familiar even to me. Mary and I a couple of years ago went up to see a couple of her brothers in Dub for the weekend. We were going to drive, but the train didn’t seem that expensive and that way we could both have a nice cup of tea. There were millions of people queueing and the train looked about a mile long.

  2. My 84year old Father and I are travlin from Dublin to Cork May 31 and would like to rent a car. Should we taxie to the airport? we would be heading to west cork Skiberean area. We did’t want to get back to the airport after a long Trans Atlantic flight. Are ther car rentals at Kent station?
