Hillside Chains
Rusted chains lie on the ground near the walkway to the Mizen Head Lighthouse. Just saw Star Trek. In my head it was the best thing since sliced bread but it was still a great film. Loved the little nods to the original series. Definitely worth going to see!

Next time you’re out at Mizen Head you might notice this abandoned boat lying upside down by the visitor center. I almost missed it but I looked back to get a shot of the cliffs in the background. This makes a nice foreground I think. Anyway, must have been an awful chore dragging that boat…

Chain Link A huge link in a mostly submerged chain. If you looks carefully you’ll notice the trapped bottle of mineral water visible between the rusted metal! This was shot only a few feet from the boats in the previous shot.
