Sky High Chimneys
Taken somewhere above England or Wales on a flight back from London in January 2008.
Gangsters
Gangster’s Barbers, somewhere in London. I couldn’t tell you where. Matt was driving.
Autumn Trees
Beautiful golden leaves adorn the trees in Burnham Beeches near London. Last year I posted a photo of the same trees in Burnham Beeches and this version has been sitting in my TODO folder ever since, waiting for me to work on it.
Chili Time
Chili peppers on sale in the market in Maidenhead in the UK about 3 weeks ago. It wasn’t quite cold enough that I was tempted to buy some and chew them raw, but if it was now I’d think about it. It’s freezing out!
Empty Seats
No bums on seats in this cafe in Maidenhead in the UK.
Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle, as seen from the pavement outside with benches going off into the distance like a moat stopping the tourists trampling on the lawn. More corrupted images this evening and a few I didn’t want to lose including family shots and a couple of long exposure night scene. Email sent off to Warehouseexpress looking…
OF
Sign spotted on a garage door in Taplow, in the UK.
Lone plane over Windsor
If you live anywhere north of London it seems you’re in the flight path of one airport or another. Windsor, despite having a great big castle, is no exception and a number of flights flew over in the few hours we spent in the town.
Public Seating
Plastic seats outside a house, near yesterday’s home I think. We went for a walk this evening by the reservoir in Inniscarra and I got some nice shots of my family and of the setting sun over the water. Unfortunately when I got home a number of shots were corrupted. I’m not sure why or…
My Home from Home
What do you do when you get home from holiday? Put a clamp on the wheels of your caravan! I could make a joke about cleaning the wheels of their home, but that’s an obvious one and I’m in a hurry tonight. Got a surprise birthday party to go to soon! Shot somewhere near Slough…
Golden Leaves
Continuing on the Burnham Beeches theme, here’s another typical autumn shot. A great many more trees had their leaves than here in Blarney where most trees are naked. While in town this evening I discovered to my dismay that my Canon 10-22 lens is broken. The manual focus ring is completely jammed and the zoom…
Autumn Leaves
Hues of gold and brown greet the eye in Burham Beeches. Yes I know it’s technically winter but autumn is always associated with falling leaves, while winter is cold and snow falls instead, so please humour me! I do have a couple of other shots of yesterday’s Burnham Beeches photo but I’ll leave those until…
