Pentax
Camera straps say so much about you. Mine says “Canon”. What does your strap say? Nikon? Sony? My dad used to shoot with a Pentax SLR for years so I have fond memories of the brand. I’m curious about their DSLRs. Anyone have one?
Carol Singers
Carol singers on Patrick’s Street yesterday. It’s nice to see carollers again. It seems they haven’t been out much in previous years but this year I spotted 3 groups dotted around the city streets singing their hearts out. Lisbon Treaty Referendum 2

Doorstep
A doorstep next to the Bodega on Cornmarket Street Cork. Does anyone remember what building was here? It’s always been empty as long as I remember!

An empty Mc Donald’s promotional meal box sits inside the window of Mc Donald’s in Daunt Square in Cork. Check out newborn.ie, Claire Wilson’s new photography business! Good luck Claire. Lovely photos!
Chili Time
Chili peppers on sale in the market in Maidenhead in the UK about 3 weeks ago. It wasn’t quite cold enough that I was tempted to buy some and chew them raw, but if it was now I’d think about it. It’s freezing out!

Panaflex
When I originally took this photo in Chicago (on La Salle, near the CBOT) it was a snapshot of a film crew. I took a few more shots of the crew but I was intrigued by the camera. Panaflex, what’s the specs on that then? Turns out it’s a product of Panavision, you know, that…
Bright Idea
You don’t need to be smart to have a bright idea, just a Posca or paint and a blank wall.
