Rods Out at Ballycotton

·

Seven fishermen in silhouette along a pier at dusk, rods angled out over calm water, one angler with an arm raised above his head, a band of orange light along the horizon under a deep blue sky.
Seven fishermen silhouetted on a wet pier after sunset, with two rods on opposite sides of the frame curving up to form a wide V against an orange and blue sky, a low headland across the water.
Seven fishermen in silhouette along a pier at last light, one on the far right pointing out across the water with an outstretched arm, another lifting a rod.

Seven anglers had the end of Ballycotton pier to themselves, rods out over the water, while the sun went down behind the far shore.

I was there for the sunset and happy to photograph the fishermen looking for fish.
