@donncha I’ve seen multiple riders do this, at 50km+ on roads in built up and semi rural settings. Though this particular bike is not over-powered, the location and stunt isn’t appropriate on paths.I rode past this spot in the article shown wondering how the accident occurred, after a ebike screamed past me, doing this stunt just before the death occurred. I watched the daylight ebike rider use the pedestrian/bike bridge and realised the youngster killed had not taken this route, but decided to cross the double intersection, at night, at speed at a tricky blind spot.
