Shandon from the Dunnes Stores restaurant

The best view of Shandon in the city centre is from the restaurant upstairs in Dunnes Stores on St Patrick’s Street, above the trays and the tea urns. I stared out the window, above the building site that is the Crawford Gallery.

  1. Shandon’s clock is Cork’s famous four-faced liar — each dial once told a slightly different time, and the city forgave it every minute. The best views do come with tea urns.

  2. @sherlock221b yeah, great view of the city from up there too!
