Wheeling Through the Square
The nun was the only person in Market Square moving with any purpose. Everyone else had the tourist walk, slow and drifting or heads tilted up at the scaffolding on St Mary’s. She came over the cobbles in sandals with the bike beside her, key swinging from her belt, and went straight past us on her way.
