Donkeys in the Rain

The rain is back! After weeks of blistering sun we’re getting a dose of ordinary Irish weather again except the rain is warm.

Four donkeys in a field gathered around, curious to see me on the road with an umbrella held precariously over my head, protecting my camera. I hope they have some shelter in a nearby ruin.

    @donncha I hope they do have a place to shelter? Unlike horses, donkeys become sick if they get soaking wet

      @erikvanbeek I hope so too. There are ruins and an old house on the property where some of them came from as I walked around the corner of the field.
