No Swimming. No Kidding.

Photos
Photo of the entrance to Clogher Beach on the Dingle Peninsula, looking down concrete steps with a metal railing towards heavy surf. Rough grey-green waves break close to shore, with white foam surging up the sand. A red no-swimming sign stands on the left and a red no-entry sign on the right. A blue sign between them urges people to not litter. Sand has blown across the path and steps. Grass-covered dunes frame both sides.

A storm was blowing on to Clogher Beach recently. Waves so high they’d go over your head. You definitely did not want to drive down there or swim.
