This is what Chinatown in London looks like on a Saturday evening in July. A sea of tourists as far as the eye can see, which isn’t very far unless you’re tall.

  1. That title is perfect. The way you compress the crowd into one moving mass, then let the lanterns sit overhead like a low ceiling, makes the scene feel festive and slightly claustrophobic at the same time. I like that you treat the crowd itself as the subject, turning chaos into rhythm.
