Silhouettes Under the Bridge

Photos
Black and white photograph framed by curved bridge arch of Blackfriars Railway Bridge showing silhouetted couple standing at Thames shoreline with dramatic cloudy sky above London's modern skyline, including the Leadenhall Building, Cheesegrater, and other City skyscrapers across the river.

A man and a woman look along the shoreline of the Thames in London, probably for old pieces of pipe which are common along there.

Above us was the modern Blackfriars Railway Bridge, and of course off in the distance is the London skyline.

  1. @HarriettMB that's right! One of my friends I was with found a small piece of ceramic pipe. Google Lens said it might be from the 16th or 17th century I think. Apparently they're very common.
