I took part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade here in Blarney today along with my son and wife. We walked with the Community Preschool group and I am utterly amazed at the stamina of young kids! Little 3 and 4 year olds walked around Blarney and still had energy left to play with bubbles at the end!
What a wonderful day. I’m exhausted. Here’s a few photos I took.

I’m guessing the little ones in white were your group? They looked like seasoned parade goers.
I love how you caught the action of the bubbles in one shot and the looks on the faces of the crowd. That boy with the green hair really stands out!
I was expecting more green. Funny that.
Hehe, there was a lot more green but since I was taking part in the parade it was hard to shoot other participants!
Still, had a great day. Did you have a parade around your area? 🙂
No, no parade here. I’ve not heard of a St Paddy’s parade in any of the North American cities I’ve lived in. The celebration is usually limited to school, green clothes, and green beer.
LOL, they allow beer in the schools? Very progressive! 😉
Ah, I love that old brown Ford. What is the model and year of it, if you know?
