While out photowalking a hot sausages in a bun with a dab of mustard is just the thing to keep the hunger at bay. I bought the sausage in the bun being prepared above and totally enjoyed it, even if it was ā¬4.
Shot on Cornmarket Street at the Crepe Man stall during the pre-Irish Blog Awards photowalk in Cork.
BTW there’s Kevin in the background!

That reminds me ……. what is the situation regarding taking photos of people at their place of work? While taking photos in the english market last weekend, I had a butcher yelling at me because I took his photo while he was working, he threatened to take my camera off me!! I would have liked to see him get past Brendan first!
Strictly speaking you might be on private property inside in the English Market or doesn’t the Corporation own it? Anyway, maybe he’s just pissed off at all the photographers who go in there every day š
Yes, I think he’d have some hassle getting past Brendan! Always good to have someone in defence eh?
Right then, I’m putting his big cross photo up on my flickr page,
At the next photowalk I think we should include the english market and paparatzzi him. (only kidding)
There were a few people on that street who weren’t at all impressed with all us photographers suddenly appearing! While legally there is nothing stopping you taking photos of people in public space, sometimes it is better to ask permission. There was an old couple outside a shop and I asked if I could photograph them. They said they would rather not but were very appreciative that I asked them first. I had a chat with them after which was cut short when they saw another photographer across the street and they began shooing him away! š
On a separate note, I wonder how many people will be disapointed when they google “hot tasty Kevin”?!
Kevin – I never noticed them! Must have been the hunger, but as you say, there’s no legal reason why we can’t photograph there. We were a big group anyway š
Oh yes, I just tried that search. Oh dear. Haha!
Kevin, I thought about commenting on that at first but then I decided that since yourself and donncha are such nice polite folks, I didn’t want to expose you to such uncouthness!
