Daffodils struggle against the cold and snow in Blarney this morning. Many parts of the country were covered in a white blanket. Snow is still falling. My son loves it of course. We spent 10 minutes in the back garden throwing snow around and I got some great photos!
If you’re in Dublin on St. Patrick’s Day this year make sure you upload your photos to the Pix.ie Festival Group. Pix.ie have got together with St. Patrick’s Festival to give bloggers a chance to get into good positions to shoot the Dublin Parade. I’ll be in Cork that day and I’ll be shooting the Parade here.
I wonder if the organisers down here can do something similar?
More coverage on icedcoffee, Red Mum, Darren Greene Photography, McAWilliams Photoblog and I’m sure on more blogs but I haven’t caught up on my blog reading in ages!

You’re welcome Marcus! Wish I could participate!
On another note, my camera’s number rolled over today. 9999+ shots taken since I bought the camera last August! As I said on Twitter, I’m slowing down!
You’re not slowing down, you’re getting more selective 😀
This is amazing photo… Can’t stop enjoying this!
Superbly seen and capture, thanks a lot for sharing!
