The difference is we’re Irish

Dunnes Stores, Blackpool in Cork City. Recent Dunnes Stores adverts finish with the byline, “The difference is we’re Irish”. It stinks of desperation as everyone north of Dublin heads up to Northern Ireland to shop!

  1. Yea, I agree – I mean, the difference is you’re ripping us off and not exporting the excessive margins………

The monochrome works very well – makes them look all modern, metallic and futuristic – if only it were so – mind you, people I know from over seas always fill up in Dunnes with kids clothes – Like my wife does with H+M & babygap

  2. I’m thinking anagrams. The only one I can come up with is Stunned Sores. Hang on. Sun Teen Dross. The whole thing sounds like a really nasty holiday.
