City Life Through Generations
What caught my eye initially was the two older gentlemen in the foreground, but I love that the riders of the bike are wearing similarly coloured clothes. Dark and bright, both.
Waiting for the Bus on Grand Parade
A young couple at the Grand Parade bus stop, with their phones out, caught my eye on a mild May afternoon in 2018. I couldn’t help but notice their shoes. Are they matching, or is it just the angle?
Waiting in Colour
Off to the side of Monastiraki Square, near the train station entrance is a Flormar store, and I when I saw what you see above I had to get a photo. If you go there now, you might see that man. He was attending to a local stall and stepped away for a moment.
The crowds of Monastiraki Square
Monastiraki Square in Athens is a busy area for tourists, right next to many of the ancient sites of the city. It’s a bustling area, full of interesting characters, both local and foreign, and a great place to visit for a street photographer!
The bible in the shadows
Two members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses stand in the shade near the Arena Spodek in Katowice, Poland.
Eyes in the back of his head
I was lucky he didn’t spot me taking this candid photo.
Narrow Alleys and Vibrant Life in Malaga
I love the narrow streets and alleys of Malaga. They’re great for street photography!
Next Stop: Shopping in Cork
Three women wait at the traffic lights on Grand Parade. They’ve all been shopping in NEXT. It’s odd what Lightroom sometimes does to a photo when you correct for lens distortion. 🙂
Plaid Hat Diplomacy in Valencia
A hand raised in greeting, with a smiling face, or is it a hand raised in anger? Luckily, it was the former, with the smiling face of a friendly man just out of the shot greeting his friend in the plaid hat.
A Man and His Dog
It’s so unusual to see a dog in Cork City, but then I saw this beautiful Border Collie. His attention on something off-camera.
Canine Companion on Castle Street
This cute little terrier saw Diego, my chihuahua, and of course needed to make friends with him. 🙂 Dogs are the best! PS. inb4 complaints. Nobody noticed this was Paul Street!
