A few days ago we had a lovely sunset and luckily I was out walking with my wife around the village. Here’s a shot from the road outside. This is a silhouette anyone in Blarney will recognise, isn’t it?

A single exposure at 1/30 of a second because the road, even if it is in rural Ireland on the Dingle Peninsula. Cars drove past at most every 5-6 minutes. Lightroom’s new masking tools were really helpful working on this image.

Storm clouds rolled in as I tried to shoot the sunset from Sheep’s Head. The sun had already dipped by this time and I was rushing to get a few photos before the rain came. Luckily there was time but ominous clouds were overhead as I ran back to the car at the last minute!
