Frank Flaherty, Cork’s Birdman
Frank Flaherty is pictured above feeding pigeons on Daunt Square in 2019. He was recently approached by a litter warden who told him to stop feeding the birds because local businesses complained of excessive bird poo and feathers in the area.

A dog sits in a doorway on Paul Street, pictured 6 years ago. I’m not sure which doorway it was but I think it was one opposite Pinochio’s. Streetview isn’t helpful as it only has streetview going back to 2017 for this street.

Supporters of SARS-CoV-2 gathered on the Grand Parade yesterday to encourage members of the public to get infected with the virus instead of being vaccinated as it’s “just like the flu” or “the vaccine makes you sick”.
