Place your bets at the races
I’ve only been to a few point to point or other horse races, but you can rely on there being bookies present to take your money.

A Jack Russell lying in the shade at the recent Dawstown Point-to-Point horse racing. It was warm, and the sun was bright, so he made a beeline for the shade afforded by his human dad standing nearby.

On the day before the Dingle Races I saw a horse looking out of a horse box. His owner had gone into the nearby petrol station and came back a few minutes later.

I’m not quite sure what to say about this man and his “Global War n ing” sign. I’ve talked to him a few times as he’s stood at the same spot most Saturdays for the last few years. All I know, is he’s a crack pot conspiracy theorist.
The Shein Lines
A Shein popup shop opened in Opera Lane recently. It’s only open for a short time and huge lines of people have gathered waiting to get in there.
Plants grow everywhere
Near the top of Patrick’s Hill in Cork I spotted these plants growing from the gutter of a building. Good thing plants don’t have a fear of heights because there was a large drop from there. 🙂
Morley’s Hire
If you need to hire a suit in Cork, then Morley’s might be one place you’ll go to. I saw their building across Daunt Square in McDonald’s and I liked how the window and furniture framed it.
