A single exposure at 1/30 of a second because the road, even if it is in rural Ireland on the Dingle Peninsula. Cars drove past at most every 5-6 minutes. Lightroom’s new masking tools were really helpful working on this image.

Storm clouds rolled in as I tried to shoot the sunset from Sheep’s Head. The sun had already dipped by this time and I was rushing to get a few photos before the rain came. Luckily there was time but ominous clouds were overhead as I ran back to the car at the last minute!

An early morning drive to the Lakes of Killarney this morning resulted in an eventful trip for Blarney Photography Club today. Rain didn’t spoil the sunrise, but a trip afterwards to the Gap of Dunloe didn’t go so well with a literal storm blowing up between the hills. The photo above is from Dinis Cottage…
