Sheep’s Head Sunset
Over the weekend I stayed in a B&B on Sheep’s Head in Co. Cork and of course I had to photograph the sunset from the headland. I shared another photo taken on the same night recently, but I’ve photographed the sunset in this part of the world several times. I wasn’t expecting much as there…
Light from the cloud
Light pours through a gap in the clouds, illuminating the waters between Sheep’s Head and the Beara Peninsula.
Stormy Clouds Over The Beara Peninsula

After The Sunset
Looking towards the Beara Peninsula from Sheep’s Head moments after this sunset photo. The sun had set behind the hills but it still lit up the sky for some time at this time of year.
Sunset over the Beara Peninsula
The sun sets over the Beara Peninsula last weekend. Pictured from Sheep’s Head, about 2km from the tip of the peninsula. Got there just in time to see this!
After the sunset on Sheep’s Head

Every time the lens is taken off there’s a chance that dust will swirl into the cavity of the camera, attracted by the charged sensor on the back wall…
