A church in shadow
A side door of the Igreja Paroquial da Graça in Lisbon catches the first rays of the sun. A long diagonal shadow stretches across the door.

A Momentary Smile
All smiles in Lisbon.

Don’t look back
A woman on her phone looks over her shoulder at some commotion, off camera, that has caught her attention. We’ll never know what.

The white bridge of Lisbon
The Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge stands out clearly against the sky in this sunset photo in Lisbon.
The Blue Tuk Tuk
A blue tuk tuk driving along in front of the blue Court of Appeal of Lisbon in Portugal. I wonder how comfortable they are on those cobbles?
NAF1 in Lisbon
Nobody knows who NAF1 is, but in my research I did find a Portuguese company called NAF. Seems they’re involved in real estate and probably not a fan of graffiti. I don’t imagine this man is either.
Waiting for a Taxi
“Look, the taxi is coming now. I see it!””It better be Afonso driving. He owes me €10 from the other night.””Oh, doesn’t look like it. Not his car. You lent him that money to buy a gift for his mom, didn’t you?””Yeah, He paid far too much for a little figurine, but his mom loves…
