ICM of sunset water
An ICM of the sunset reflected in the waters near Crosshaven last May.
A bit late at the beach
The public toilets at Warren Beach, Co Cork, might seem like an unusual photo, but they were the only source of light nearby. Apart from a few minutes later when I ran up and down the beach with the flashlight on my phone for some fun long exposure shots.
Reflections in the pond
Near the Igreja Paroquial da Graça in Lisbon, I found a small pond that had a lovely reflection.
The Chicago Board of Trade
In 2003, there wasn’t much vegetation to see on La Salle Street, but I found it at N 120 La Salle N Street according to Google Maps. The most recent photos on Google Maps show the red flowers are long gone. You’ve probably seen the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) building in movies, such as…
A fork in the forest
The path forks around one of the ruins of the gunpowder mill in Ballincollig Regional Park, Cork. Everything is overgrown, but access is easy. Inside that building, it looks like this.
Young man walking
Others are enjoying the setting sun, while this man walking past looked directly at me just as I clicked the shutter.
At the Jeweller
She’s picking out something she likes.
The Port of Cork
The PORT OF CORK sign welcomes any boat coming into the city, but it’s probably on borrowed time if development continues in this area on Custom House Quay. I made this from 3 separate images because I forgot I had my wide-angle lens in my camera bag. I was out with friends from Blarney Photography…
City Hall in Green
Cork City Hall is lit up in green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day today. We went out on Thursday night to photograph it and I decided to get something different by shooting an out of focus image
A tourist stares
The tram trundles past and people stare at it, unaware I have captured the moment. Lisbon, November 2023.
The Atlantic Pond in Reflection
I love walking by the Marina and sometimes walking around the Atlantic Pond. Most of the water was deliciously calm this afternoon when I visited.
Starry Night Sky
After photographing the National Space Centre on a dark January evening I turned around and spotted this silhouette. Luckily, there wasn’t much of a wind blowing, but we were lucky. A chill wind blew in a few minutes later.
