There are lots of little dogs around Cork City these days, and they wear cute little coats against the rain and cold.

A long figure seems lost in the courtyard of the Panthéon in Paris, while another sits on a rock bench lost in a book. An actual, honest to goodness, paper book.

I don’t remember what this dog’s name was, but she was so cute I asked her human dad if I could photograph her. No petting was allowed as she is the typical small dog and isn’t fond of strangers rubbing her. Not surprising really. Would you like giants rubbing your head?

Walking past the Museum Brandhorst in Munich and I noticed the pleasing lines of the museum and the repeating pattern of the flats next door.

The trailer of a lorry in Piper’s, Crosshaven. Not much activity happening there, but I liked this image.

A woman, deep in thought, wondering what she’ll buy at a market in London a few years ago.
I only noticed she had her glasses sitting on her head. Ingenious! I hate wearing sunglasses while walking, as I have to replace them with my glasses when I go somewhere dark.

On a quiet October morning in 2016, I travelled into town as I saw there was fog forecast, and I wasn’t disappointed. While I was photographing the boats lined up along Kennedy Quay, a single rower came up the river.
He quickly glided past my position along the river, but I grabbed a few photos, including R&H Hall, and a view of the Elysian that is somewhat blocked by further development over in that direction.
When I go back there again some morning in eight years time to photograph the fog, I’m sure the quay will be unrecognisable.

The Parnell Place Bus Station in Cork is lit up from below by pink lighting. It’s a long exposure shot and a vehicle drove past during the shot.
I wanted to get this shot and make sure that the red brick chimney to the far left was visible as it’s the most prominent part of a factory and industrial buildings that used to sit on that block. Some surrounding buildings were demolished in recent years. Apparently, they date from the 1920s.

There’s no parking in front of La Scala in Crosshaven, and the no parking signs belong to Pipers. This time of year, Piper’s is fairly quiet, but hopefully in the summer they’ll be open again and busy.

Water bouncing off apples in a sink, a little experiment I did twenty years ago in 2004. I need to do more of that.
