The container ship Elisabeth left Cork yesterday at 17:19 on its way to Southampton in the UK. Here it is rounding the bend by Blackrock Castle as it heads into the harbour and out to sea.

A fish out of water
A fish jumps out of the water of the River Lee by the Lee Fields in Cork a few weeks ago. Most of the fishermen gathered on the banks had no luck. The fish were after the little flies buzzing over the water!
