A smile brightens up anyone’s day. When it’s a child smiling it’s extra special.
This was shot on St. Patrick’s Bridge, Cork just after the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17th. The crowds opened up for a few seconds and I briefly saw father and son.
It was February. The sun was trying to shine but it was a little nippy out. You need to wrap up against the cold breeze!
Man and daughter or maybe granddaughter pictured on Patrick’s Street in Cork.
A young lady checked her bag just outside Paul Street Shopping Centre in Cork. Wide angle lens makes for weird contortions but I like it!
His and hers bikes locked up against a pole in Daunt Square, Cork last February. Looking at this with fresh eyes, I was lucky to catch the people behind the bikes without at least one of them standing behind the pole!
I love the expressions of the two girls closest to the bikes. I wonder if they’re sisters?
I have to get out and take more street shots soon. I can’t remember the last time I “shot from the hip” and Cork City needs recording!

Sometimes you just want to move to the side and let life pass you by. Don’t forget to jump on again!
Image made on Paul Street, next door to Bully’s Restaurant in Cork.
This is for all the fans of Marvel and DC Comics publications! Super heroes do exist. They live in Cork, and hand out leaflets on Patrick’s Street in front of Dunnes Stores!
A close up of the MAAS logo on one of the street lights on Oliver Plunkett Street.
It is wonderful to see a child smile and laugh and this little fella certainly was cheerful! Three buggies in one shot, tell me there isn’t an explosion in births in Ireland!
This was shot on Patrick’s Street, right in front of Boots. There’s someone eating in Abrakebabra in the background!
I found out that my Thieving Duck was used by the News of the World last Sunday without permission. Thanks Ricky for leaving that comment. I’ve emailed their newsdesk so hopefully I’ll hear back from them soon.
I made this image of the guy in the hat on Patrick’s Street last February and I knew I had a great street shot. I have no idea what those people in the car are doing but they left shortly after.
