A Robin in the Garden
I don’t often see robins in the garden but this guy visited us about a month ago.
Blarney Lake Swan
One of the family of swans on Blarney Lake in the grounds of Blarney Castle, last month.
The Giant’s Causeway at Sunset
The Giant’s Causeway in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland back in 2018. The evening is the best time to see it. Most of the tourists have gone and while there are always people there at that time of day if conditions are right it’s well worth it!
Assaranca Waterfall
Assaranca Waterfall is 8km from the scenic town of Ardara on the way to Maghera Beach. August 2017.
Light Trails on Anglesea Street
On the last outing to Cork City by Blarney Photography Club in 2019. I was lucky that two busses passed within seconds of each other and I had the shutter open to capture them!
Blue Skies over the Castle
Blarney Castle, May 2015.
Pink Flowers
Pink flowers in Fitzgerald Park, August 2016.
Little Pink Flowers
Little pink flowers in the grounds of Blarney Castle, closer to home than the photos of previous days. November 2013. Can’t post it to Facebook as my account has been disabled again, but I did get a backup of my data last month so there is that.
The Vines of the Douro Valley
The vines in a distant field as seen from Quinta da Roêda. Bit of a drive from Porto, but lovely to visit. Portugal, November 2019.
Neville the Puppy
Neville, a soon to be service dog in training, enjoying his first day out among humans. He ran straight back to his human Mom looking for cuddles after this quick photoshoot. He’s adorable!
The trees on the horizon
Behind Long Strand in Co Cork, in late December. Awful weather. Cold, blustery, but there’s a great fish & chips there called The Fish Basket.
A light snow in Blarney
It snowed for about half an hour this morning. Ironically, the country could do with a heavy snow to encourage less travel.
