The Stunning have been part of Irish musical life since the late 80s with such hits as “Brewing up a Storm”, “Everything That Rises”, and “Half Past Two”. It was incredible to see them live in Cyprus Avenue!

Future Stars at Cyprus Avenue
The students of Cork Academy of Music took over the stage in Cyprus Avenue last week for a fabulous Christmas concert. For most of them, it was their first time on stage and it was electrifying. The crowd went wild supporting their friends and family and everyone was dancing and having a great time!
Big Generator: Cobh’s Night Electric
Big Generator rocked Cobh last August during the Cobh People’s Regatta. They played in the band stand in the park and even later in the evening after the fireworks there was a large crowd dancing and enjoying the music! Look out for them as they play around the country.
Qween at the Cork Opera House
The Queen tribute band, Qween, played in the Cork Opera House on Saturday night to a packed audience and they were so great! Check out this video from the gig. Go see them if you can!
Showdown The ELO Experience at Cyprus Avenue
The ELO Experience played in Cyprus Avenue in Cork last night and they were fabulous, playing many deep cuts as well as The Electric Light Orchestra’s greatest hits. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the night and they announced their next gig there in May next year!
Madness in Cork
We went to see Madness play in Virgin Media Park last night. They were supported by Cork band, The Frank and Walters, and Ocean Colour Scene. We arrived early because we wanted to see The Frank and Walters, and it was great to get in before the place filled up. The support bands were great…
A Musical Afternoon in the Library
Joey Neville entertained a small audience in Cork City Library this afternoon with a selection of his own compositions, and other tunes. He was later joined by Eileen Healy on violin.
