The Fields of Slea Head
The green fields on Slea Head in County Kerry are home to many sheep and photographers who shoot this place to death. The photographers, not the sheep. With cameras. While I was taking this photo another photographer walked down the slope just out of shot to shoot the beach at Cuminole! Winners of the free…

Penn Stivien 671km
Penn Stivien is 671km from this town in Kerry. I can’t remember the name of the place now, but they have a bar/restaurant there that serves fabulous food. I don’t remember the name of that either. 🙂
An Fear Marbh san uisce
An Fear Marbh, or “The Dead Man” in English lies off the coast of Co. Kerry. I posted another photo of the island taken on the same night as this one here, but it was such a beautiful evening I took quite a few shots!

EI-128 at rest on the beach
Glider EI-128 sitting on the sand at Inch Strand, Co. Kerry in 2006. I’ve posted a few photos of this glider in the past and I can safely say this is the last one unless I happen to see it again!
Guide Me
Guide Me, a boat left high and dry above the beach at Baile Na nGall in Co. Kerry. Declan from O’Learys Camera World rang this morning. My lens has arrived. I’ll go collect it tomorrow!
Sheep in a Kerry field

Conor Pass Hills and Clouds
Conor Pass Hills and Clouds This image broke my heart. I spent a long time trying to get the darkened sky layer and the brightened ground layer to merge nicely but I’m still not happy with it. This small web version looks almost ok but I can still see the offending bits that are wrong.
Sunshine on the Conor Pass
Sunshine on the Conor Pass This will probably be the final photo from that September 2006 visit to the Conor Pass. It’s taken earlier than some of the others but I’m a sucker for leading lines so it had to go in! I love the reflection in the water on the valley floor, and the…
