Moderne Lighting
Light trails along Patrick’s Street in Cork.
Watch out! Duck! I said, “duck!”
Geese at The Lough feeding on the ground near the water’s edge. Most have their heads down pecking at scraps but one stubbornly kept a look out ..
Heavenly Cakes
Some of the delicious cakes in Heavens Cakes in the English Market. Deeeellliicious!
Chetwynd Viaduct From the Air
I always the this bridge as “The Viaduct”, but it’s actually named the Chetwynd Viaduct. Here’s the view from a my flight home a few weeks as it came in to land at Cork Airport.
I’m Still Standing
It’s wonderful how some of the old buildings in Cork are preserved while all around them their neighbours are demolished and shiny new edifices rise. This one is of course on Emmett Place.
Bubbling Water
Water flows down to the beach at Fountainstown, bubbling as it goes over rocks and seaweed. PS. I’ve reduced the cost of all prints by about $50 to $80 for the largest size framed prints. Most of the cost goes towards manufacturing and my markup is only 20% on all prints. Check ’em out in…
Red Red Rose
Red roses in my father-in-law’s garden, I think. This was shot way back in August but I’m fairly sure of the location.
Wet suits
Wet suits lie out in the sun to dry near Fountainstown Beach, County Cork.
County Hall and the Chimney
Cork County Hall, as seen from a nearby hill in Sunday’s Well. Argh! I hate coming up with blog post titles.
Old House on Oilean Chleire
Just up the hill from the North Harbour on OIlean Chleire off the County Cork coast.
Wind Power
Wind turbines dot the landscape here and there. Shot in West Cork last year.
Wait For Me!
A pigeon in Cork, somewhere. I’m in Quebec. It’s raining a bit but hopefully I’ll get out this morning for a look around. Luggage still hasn’t arrived, but someone rang at 2am to say it would be delivered here. Yay.
