An evening walk along the River Lee near the Inniscarra Hydro Station a few years ago and we were rewarded with a lovely sunset shining on the banks of the river.

At the Inniscarra Dam
Last week was my first time visiting the Inniscarra Dam on the River Lee. It’s only 10km from where I live but the entrance to the car park is on a winding country road that’s easy to miss.The dam itself is difficult to see from the road too putting it out of mind so I think most Cork people don’t think they can visit this beautiful riverside walk.
