Horses and jockeys race to the finish line at the Dawstown Point to Point a few days ago.

A young rider came off his horse during a race at the Dingle Races last August. His horse continued on, but the unlucky rider had to get out of the way of other horses.

On the day before the Dingle Races I saw a horse looking out of a horse box. His owner had gone into the nearby petrol station and came back a few minutes later.

As I was strolling through the serene beauty of Killarney National Park, a horse and cart leisurely passed by. Twenty years ago on the streets of Chicago I saw a carriage being pulled by a horse and a bored driver. Today I learned while looking up more information about these trips that Chicago banned horse drawn carriages in 2021. Prices seemed to range from $120/hour up past $500/hour.
